Mother Earth - what would she have us do?
I am grateful for this day, created in the seventies, and celebrated for fifty decades, but we still have a lot to do. All of us can do our part, even if it seems small. Let me share some of the things I do personally, to help the planet, apart from selling sustainable print materials since 2003.
Takes You Back
Are you somewhere in the world, dreaming of California? This little magic in a jar might bring get you there. The smell and feel of the ocean are packed in this little jar of heaven. Arica, a California native, mixes and matches them all in her home. This entrepreneur knows how to make us happy during these cold winter months.
Virtual Tour Food Waste Recycling Program
Tour the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts' Food Waste Recycling Program where we convert waste into a resource. They plan to show us how they are recycling food waste into green energy! Printing for Critical Thinking Companies
For years we've been printing for nimble, critical thinking companies. On the vanguard, their concern goes beyond what they create and the service they offer. Past tomorrow, next month and end-of-year. They're focused on the future.
Trash Talk
We have become increasingly aware and bothered by a gap in the system: Trash management. Our compostable labels are being used on compostable packaging, then put in a bin of compostable-ware, trucked away to an industrial compost and composted. Easy. No. Not really.
Plant Based Burger Revolution
Next Level Burger taking the burger experience up to another level. If you live in Seattle or Portland, Oregon you're the lucky one. For the rest of us, we'll keep hoping for more NLB stores to open.
We've been looking forward to this: A Straw Pulp Mill in North America
Today marks a significant step in a great direction. For the last few years we've been one of the top 10 'green' printers in the Canopy Blueline Report. Who is Canopy?
Let's get loud
Given the current weakness in our federal government - the now obvious fact that the system is failing the majority - it's time for US businesses to get out in front. And get a lot louder. Plan It Green Printing is getting loud.
Plastic Catastrophe
Scientists agree: “If the oceans die, we die.” Most of the things we buy use disposable plastic: Polystyrene, Balloons, Straws, Plastic Bags, Wrappers, Cosmetics etc.
