36 Billion
36 billion of disposable utensils are used and each year in the United States.
This horrific number is not getting lower during this pandemic, while we order more take out than ever. Utensils, straws, condiments, napkins, turned into trash, would wrap around our globe 139 times.
As we are helping and supporting our local restaurants to stay open for business with ordering out, we produce more trash.
Consumption of single-use plastics has increased by 250% - 300% since the pandemic began.
