Tour the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts' Food Waste Recycling Program where we convert waste into a resource. They plan to show us how they are recycling food waste into green energy! We, Plan It Green Printing is very excited to take a better look into their procedures, strategies and plans to help us lead a more sustainable life.
In Los Angeles County alone, we equmilate 4,000 tons of food waste a day, waste that includes old or unpresentable fruit and vegetables for local grocery store displays as well as leftovers from restaurants.
This Virtual Tour will be held on Zoom. Register and you will receive a link from Eventbrite to all registered participants prior to the designated day and time of the webinar. These web based events are free and open to the public.
