Pretty simple:  They practice what they preach.  Burton Snowboards understands how printing and the print industry effects the environment - from deforestation to water pollution. These were printed on 50% post-consumer waste (basically recycled office paper) and  50% alternative fibers such as bamboo and bagasse then it's sustainably manufactured in the USA using wind, solar, bio-fuel or low-impact hydro and Green-E Certified by a third party.   We like alternative fibers because it cuts down on cutting down trees and requires less energy and chemicals than normal paper from virgin tree fiber.
