Surrounded by State and National Parks on three sides and the Pacific Ocean on the other, Orick is a small town on the coast of Extreme Northwest California about an hour south of Oregon. The name “Orek” is the Yurok work for the sound that frogs make. Frogs are an indication of the health of a watershed. You can tell by the sounds of all those frogs that we live in a special place! This is the beginning of the Pacific Northwest where the land is green and we wear coats all year. It is of utmost importance that we keep our environment clean and healthy. With only 325 humans and 3000 Roosevelt elk in this zip code, we are blessed to be able to live and work in such a natural environment.

Orick Soap Company is a partnership of two families who want to tread lightly on our planet and give their children a healthy, sustainable future. Clean air, clean water and happy frogs are of utmost importance to us.
